Press Release (13/04/2021) - The Skills Training Webinar discussed how to improve research capabilities to support learning activities during the pandemic. Afidah Nur Aslamah as a speaker also reminded the importance of doing research to determine the right teaching method. She mentioned several benefits of research in learning activities, including understanding the condition of students in the target area, training to think critically, helping to determine appropriate teaching methods, being better able to prepare learning tools, and observing students in the real world.

During this pandemic, the distance learning method applied is still ineffective because it has not been included in the curriculum. However, distance learning can also provide opportunities for an educator to be more flexible in the learning process and can increase the creativity of an educator.

Afidah Nur Aslamah also said "In addition to problems in distance learning during a pandemic such as computer vision syndrome and mentally unstable students, it turns out that there are also many lessons that we can take. One of them is increasing harmony between parents and children at home. This is because during the pandemic the learning methods used are in the form of distance learning such as project-based learning, daring methods and blended learning." Therefore, this activity was indeed held with the aim of improving the skills of Community Development members of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, especially during the pandemic.

When the webinar activity was over, members of the Community Development Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta said that the activity increased their knowledge and was very helpful in carrying out their learning activities.
